Max, founder and chief surveyor at Circle, has 20 years of experience in the property market. After graduating from university in Architecture, Max completed work designing and project managing domestic residential homes. Amongst this was a further year as a UK building control officer. Latterly a PG Dip in surveying with more than 10 years’ experience of residential surveying including with a UK market leader. This includes mortgage valuations and property condition reports. This breadth and depth of knowledge of the construction and condition of properties is comprehensive. This is complimented with a solid understanding of the sales market with excellent experience of the valuations process, including mortgage criteria. This knowledge is now available to you directly, years of knowledge of the UK property market.
We strive to add value, with pre and post survey discussion, ensuring that not only know everything about the property you are buying but that you understand the issues in plain English. We don’t simply send you an invoice and then a pdf, we provide the guidance you need when you need it.

Max was awesome through the whole process. She was able to put me at ease and keep me calm in what is a very stressful situation. She did a very thorough assessment of a property I was in the process of buying and, although there were issues, she addressed them with sensitivity - without causing panic - and allowed me to ask 100 questions without giving hanging up on me. Max also was happy to look over a report from a contractor to check it would solve the issues. She was so approachable, and I felt very much safe with her. It was nice to be able to have a contact that would be on my side through the buying process!
